Outcome Resistance

Addressing Resistance is the part three of the TEAM-CBT model and it has five steps:

1.     Invitation: If the client ready to shift to the active work?

2.     Specificity: What problem the client would like to work on and when this is the problem for them?

3.     Conceptualization: What type of the problem the client wants help with?

4.     Motivation:

a.     Outcome Resistance (OR): Would the client be willing to explore the reasons not to change?

b.     Motivation - Process Resistance (PR): Would the client be willing put in the work?

5.   Methods.
